Default ecu question

I have a 92-95 civic hatch with a d15b jdm motor , i have a p08 auto computer in it and it s a 5 sp i was wondering if i can switch it out with my other ecu off my buddies b16 it a p30-000 ecu i was just wondering if it would work if not , what about a p28 anyone trade me my p30 for p28 help me out

I would go for the p28 its cheap. I don't know if a DOHC VTEC ecu will work or not, sorry.

The car will run with the P30 ecu...but for the best performance get the p28 chipped or the P08 which is the ecu for the d15b

i did plug in the p30 ecu everything seems to be fine acuatlly runs little better then my auto p08 but it seems liek vtec kicks in later on in the rpm range but anyway this should hurt anything right also my check engine light is on
