Default ECU Question.....

I have a couple question about ECU... btw my car is 93 Civic w/ JRSC

1. Will I blow up my engine if I program my ECU?
2. What ECU program do I have to get? (what mean by p28?)
3. What is the good company who can do the program for ECU
4. Is chipped is same meanning with program the ECU right?

Sorry for the dumm question.... but I got to know the answer before I program my ECU right?

definitely look at http://www.hondata.com

if you go with most non-programmable ECU upgrades, they are for NA not turbo or super. you may not blow your up but its not likely to run better or make more power.

1. no you can't blow it up unless it is some stipid crazy program
2.p28 is sohc obd1 vtec ecu.
3.hondata
4. programable ecu you can change daily if you want a chip you have to take the chip out and reprogram it every time.
