Default ECU on a mini me for a first timer?

reading up on mini me swap for a recently purchased D16A6.

What are my options for ECU?

What are the differences between going with stock ECU (OBD0? I think) and OBD1 or OBD2?

What I'm trying to avoid is a new harness or aftermarket (meaning installed by me..) wiring.

Trying to keep things as simple as possible.

Also what are my ignition options? I was thinking MSD SCI-L...but then again I've owned/been in to Hondas for all of 3 days...

Suggestions? Advice?

MSD doesn't do anything, or so they say. OBD1 is better for tuning, obd2 is worthless, , go obd1 if you got the cash.

Thanks for the info.

So in Honda world MSD isn't necessary?

Also, what is involved with switching my car over to a OBD1 set up? How much wiring is this gonna require?
