ECU loses power and all drive cycle data after shutdown
Hi I am new I hope this is an acceptable section of the forum to post this thread. Basically I am trying to pass emissions, my car is an Acura Integra 1.8L 2000 LS 3-door hatchback. I am having bad issues with my ECU or ECM storing its system non-continuous monitor readiness data. I have a scanner that tells me all I/M readiness tests, after driving car for 20 minutes I can get oxygen sensor monitor to set, but as soon as I turn off the car it resets itself (I do restart car so engine is running during tests). It has done this multiple times, I have a new battery so I'm kind of lost now. Could it be something like Main relay, ign switch etc. I will mention a very recent problem I've noticed with starting the car when it's already warm. It seems like it's sputtering but then I leave it for ten minutes and it starts up like new, very weird. Looking for somebody with some experience to help point me in the right direction. I'm fairly capable with cars, just lack experience, please help.

Thanks for the replies, it turns out it was multiple issues that weren't obvious. ECU backup fuse 7.5 amp under the hood was blown for a while. That allowed it to store data again, but there was slow corruption happening in the ecu so when it went to emissions again all of a sudden they couldn't read it with a base scanner. My pocket Actron scanner could read it fine, but not their base scanner. Also the oxygen sensor heater readiness monitor came on instantly every single time, even when backup fuse was blown without completing any drive cycle or even warming car. So basically all it was is corruption, had to be reflashed and it's like new now and passed emissions with no issues.
