ecu jumper question
Does any one know the company that does the soldering for the ecu jumper harnesses. I am just looking for the name of the company, not people telling me to just buy them or any other debate or
soldering for a jumper harness?
most places that sell harnesses use a solid peice of wire from one plug to the next.
xenocron.com and rywire.com are two places that pop into my head at the moment.
there are lots of places that well them
what are you looking for? a custom harness?
best bet for that would be to find someone local. where are you?

Yes, but on the female end the wire has to be soldered to the pins

I know that there is a company that solders the wires onto the pins (on the female side of the ecu jumpers) and I would like to know the name of the company.

both ends are crimped to the wire. At least it is the first time, reusing pins or adapting one harness to work with another may force you to solder to the pins... if you don't have any new pins to work with.
I've done it many times myself.

look at this http://forum.pgmfi.org/viewtop...ector that is the connector I am talking about. How do you crimp onto those when it is a straight pin not like this http://www.grainger.com/images/products/4X274.JPG where there is a spot to put the wire to cimp it?
Either way, do you know the company that deos the crimping/soldering for the ecu jumpers?

He is attempting to find a company that will build the conversion harnesses in mass quantity so that he can start selling them. He is also still looking for part numbers of connectors.
He along with many other people just like him will realize that unless you have the companies build 10k a year, having them built in the states is not cost effective anymore because of all the whoring that has happened to this market over the last 5 years. You will have to go out of the states to get them built if you want to compete with the 5 million *** clowns that have had the info handed to them and then turned around trying to sell them.

Maybe you could try and contact one of the aforementioned harness selling companies and see what overseas company they have contracted to make there harnesses for them.

I have seen a couple of junk harnesses come up lately that sell for less then what we sell ours for. They are made & china & I tested a few of them out. I was not happy with the quality of them at all. We had issues with one randomly cutting continuity.
In the end you get what you pay for.
