ECU Help
What ECU?? This is just an example... Say you have an AUTO P28 that you're chipping to DOHC VTEC... Just socket/chip the ECU as you normally would... CUT RP17 and RP18 in the AUTO/MANUAL selection (directly under the ROM (27256)), then jump RP18 with a jumper or 0 ohm resistor... In this case you will have a manual DOHC VTEC ECU... Good Luck!!!
a friend of mine give me his complete b18b but it an A/T. I gonna put the swap in my EG but i dont wanna A/T so if i gonna use 5speed tranny do i have to get a different ECU or can i use the ECU that came with my swap, i gonna do LS/VTEC later on .thanks
That will work fine for now... As 2point6 said, your rev limit will be at the AUTO point and the fuel/timing mapping will not be as aggressive but who cares it's an LS motor... This LS ECU is capable of going to DOHC VTEC later on down the road so hang on to it... Latez
