Default ecu help

I serched for a post on this particular topic but i could not find anyhting that really went into detail about this. I swaped a 93 d16z6 into my 92 cx. The prob is that the car is still running off of the ecu and intake manifold from the cx because i don't have the wiring harness, tranny, and distr. I was wondering if I could plug in my p28 and drive until I get those other parts. Or do I run the risk of frying the ecu and screwing up something else in the process because I don't have these other parts. Thanks for any help.

It'll be fine until you get the p28.
