Default Ecu Chipping

Is it possible to take a prog designed for a p28 ecu(program chip) and install it in a p30 ecu with the same results?

Yes, you can interchange a program which you have in a p30 into a p28 etc.
As long as knock is disabled etc.

if the chip does not have barometric pressure sensor disabled then u will have problems with the chip in the P30 ecu

Well it's a performance chip designed by John Brown for a p28 ecu. Should have most emissions sensors disabled I would imagine. I only want to know if I can use it on my existing p30 ecu.
