i put a 98 GSR ecu into my car and it did not overheat, but today as i was driving the 97 GSR ecu i jus put in started to smoke and i went back home opened it up and it overheated. does anybody no why this happened?

 

Are there any modifications to the engine wiring harness?

 

The ecu over heated? or the car?
