Default ECT Gauge?

Where should I splice in the signal for this gauge? I spliced it into the sensor return for the Coolant temp gauge and it set a code? Code 6 and it would not allow the car to rev over 2k. Any ideas fo what happened?

Thanks to any help

If this is for an afte market gauge you will need a seperat senser to go in the coolant track somewhere. It will be just a single wire that grounds it self out.

Prob. the easiest way to do this is to get an adaptor that goes in line on your upper radiator hose.
