Default Eagle rods in a d16.....Block notching?

So im about to start my d16a6 build and I'm wanting to use eagle rods but on there website they say:

"Please note: some minor clearancing at the base of the cylinder walls may be necessary. This is most common on older ZC, D16A, and D16Z6 blocks."

So my question is how exactly do I go about doing this? I know that I won't want any extreme edges because that will cause stress points. I'm pretty confident that I will be able to do this myself, as the only machine shop work I plan to get done is the hone.

Is there a good right up on this anywhere? I searched and couldn't find anything good that goes into detail.

That article applies to any rod, including eagles. Follow that and you're golden.

The process is fairly straightforward. Put a rod on the crank with it's appropriate bearing and just work it back and forth...you'll see what it needed. In addition add at least .100 and you should have no problems
