Default Eagle Alloys?

Has anyone ever heard of Eagle Alloys , because there's a deal at one of our shops that includes: (4) 17 inch Eagle Alloys wheels and (4) Dunlop low-profile tires all for just under 1000 (Canadian! ), but I've never heard of those wheels before and was wondering if they're cheap, and easily warp or chip etc. Thanks

these ones? http://www.eaglewheels.com/

they are pretty cheap, they have been around awhile, they used to make crappy wheels in the 90s too. I wouldn't get them, they are basically the equivalent of American Racing wheels.

Oh yeah, I don't know if it's eagle wheels, because all I could see was Eagle Alloys, but maybe it's a subdivision of Eagle Wheels :S

You never know, they are just joining the war of the knockoffs with Rota, Konig, and all of the other companies. It's possible they will last, but they probably won't be the best quality you have ever seen.

There are a million

wheels - Konig, Rota, Nakayama, Eagle, ADR

other stuff - every brand you see on Ebay, people make 'Mugen style twin loop' mufflers, 'JDM 4-1 Style' headers, etc.

I mean, they might work fine, Rota wheels tend to be decent, but I saw some threads on here with a Konig Helium wheel that cracked during a road race event, etc. Eagle wheels have always been cheap, the kind of wheels they sell at your local firestone or Just Tires. I don't think they are worth $1000 with tires. $400? maybe.

In Canadian that would be $520, so I guess it's not really a deal after all lol But once again to this forum and to you... I didn't make the wrong choice!

I've got a set of ugly 14in. generic 5-spoke eagle alloys on my hatch. decent wheels, the finish is beginning to chip off on 2 of the wheels. unsure of how long they've been on my car, bought it with them on. for 500, just get a set of rota's, dont get 17's either.

too heavy imo. id just get a different wheel, but if you get these you dont really need to worry about getting them stolen.

Your car will perform better with 15's or 16's. Seventeen inch wheels are generally heavy and tall, two things that don't work well with Honda's.
