Default e brake cable install

i have the rear discs from a 99 civic si that i plan to install into my 99 hatch. when i originally went to do the install however, i wasnt sure about changing the ebrake cables with the car being up on two jackstands. the cables seem to run underneath the exhaust heatshield and i didnt feel confindent enough to start braking loose the bolts with the car only held up with the jack stands.

i would like any imput from people that have done this brake swap on their own on the difficulty of changing the ebrake cables, safely.

Not hard or dangerous. The most difficult part I think is getting the heat shield off. So long as it's securely on the stands it's all good...

most dangerous part is all the crap that falls down on you, wear safety goggles.

Swap out the mc & booster and you're good to go (prop valve is the same as 99-00 si on the ek hatches)
