Dynos .. ??
Ok I've been looking at some dynos online and I'm kinda lost.. so I look to the trustworthy help of fellow honda-tech members and their experience with them, looking for the pros and cons of them. If this has already been covered let me know and maybe give a link to it : )
dont know yet doing some research to find out if there worth the $$$ to get one, i got a catolog from "Land&sea" DYNOmite dynamimeter and they have awide selection but need to look around and see what every1 is useing and what they liked and dislike about them.. i realy dont want just a front wheel one and or just a rear wheel 1 so im really looking at an AWD. Then i have to think about if i want it inground or above, so thats why im asking H-T people(or trying to)
http://www.dynojet.com/automot....html i like this one and another that dynojet has.

I have a Mustang AWD-IMP dyno and love it.
Pros:
1.) super robust quality
2.) loads the car super hard so the tune is ultra robust
3.) does 2wd and awd
Cons:
1.) price
2.) you have to climb into the pit to change from awd to 2wd

I've got a land and sea, 24" rollers with the water brake setup...my only regret is it is only 2wd
water brake works awesome for loading cars while tuning
over 32 channels of possible inputs (egt, boost, fuel press. etc.)
awesome tech support
plus the biggest pro for me is land and sea is only about an hour and half from me so if I need parts or sensors in a rush I can send someone to pick them up

dynapack is the best dyno hands down. can't beat the flexibility, reliability, software interface, safety, insurance savings, space savings, etc etc etc.

with the dynopack, are they bolted to the ground or what ? and looking at the site they dont say much about how much weight it can hold.. as of the size of the car. they realy dont tell ya a hole lot there
This site is more informative: http://www.dynapackusa.com
And no, the units are not bolted to the ground.
