Dyno HELP!!
hey..
Here is my dyno sheet.. I want to know why i have a flat spot from 6000 to 7000 RPM..
one is before tuning and the other is after.. (only in the CHIP)

Here are my Mods if it helps
B16A
Short Ram AIR
70 mm BBK TB
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Crower Stage 2 A cams (springs and Ti retainers)
.030" off the head (around 11.1:1 CR)
ANR Compact Header
2.5 " Exhaust With a little High Flow CAT
DH-Racing Pulley (6 oz)
AEM Alt Pulley
9.5 LB Flywheel
Quiafe LSD
MSD Ignition
NGK #9 Plugs
What do you think would cause that dip??

the AIR/Fuel is pretty close to be the same about 13 to 13.5 from 5000 to 9000
timming is stock on the dizzy.. and advanced about 10 degrees in the ECU from 5600 to 9000 (the same)
the line that it is very close to is 13:1

i did a dyno last year. and it didn't have that flat spot...
i changed to obd-1 from obd-0
went from a jun stlye header to the ANR Compact header
from the stock flywheel to a 9.5 lb
added a quiafe
from that didn't change much..

the maps are fine...
i ran 25 pulls with diffrent maps, all had the same line from 6000 to 7000
i'm sure it has to be something to do with the hardware..
Also it looks like no one knows here on honda-tech..

its the cams. those are the crowers with the stock primaries. Ive seeen another b16 with that problems and those cams. The reg 402's dont seem to have that dip.
yes it has to be timing, if you look on the old dyno sheet and the new one, it looks like the flat line on the new one and hump on the old one are in pretty much the same spot, so depending on the timing it could do one or the other, youll just have to find if its the cams or distributor, but my money is with the cams
