Default dumb question about removing the wrist pin...

HOW DO YOU REMOVE IT?!?!?! we tried to machine press it out...no luck.... bare with my noobiness

Honda has a special tool for that job-it's what I use; that and a press. I don't know how the guys that don't have the tool do it.

do u have the special tool plus the "piston tool base"? *been reading helms* hahah

My shop does. You have the base + a couple of attachments. It is a pretty trick setup. The piston only goes on one way though; I found out the hard way and cracked one of my pistons . My JE's with full floating wristpins were much easier to install

all motors should come like that from the factory.

got it done!! went to my bro's fren's shop...your suppose to heat it up over 180 degree (dur) and the rod will expand which alows you to press it out...

yeah def free floating wrist pins stupid CTR pistons...hahaha
