Default Dry Sump

I am looking to install a H22 engine into a 88-91 CRX chassis. Something I am worried about is the height of the engine or should I say the ground clearance. Is it worth me considering a dry sump conversion? What are the pro’s/con’s of this? And also are there any kits available to help me to the conversion properly.

Thanks in advance

Default Re: Dry Sump (djnikko)

Pros; no oil pump gear failure, cooler oil temps, ground clearance, more power, better oil control for less windage, better crankcase pressure/vacuum control.
Cons; Price..Price,Space required for tank pump and plumbing in oem engine compartment, and oh ya price.
This guy is a good source for advice and systems. http://www.z10eng.com/
