Drivetrain problems.. need help ASAP
I have a d16a6 with an HF tranny (dont ask why)... Recently ive been having major problems putting my car into gear.. I push the clutch ALL the way down, try to put it in First.. and it goes in with A LOT of resistance. I have to FORCE it into gear.. and when i do finally get it into gear... the car shudders, as if the clutch is engaged. Second gear, I have to force it in also. Third gear goes is with a HUGE grind.. putting the car in Reverse come with a huge, nasty grind as well. The clutch grabs HARD, its a 6 puck dual diagphram action clutch. I tried to adjust the clutch cable a little, but the problem always comes back.. ive actually adjusted it all the way, now theres no more cable left.. what is the problem?!

Your car is also equipped with a "shifter rod" that connects from the trans to the shifter, sometimes the end that connects to the shifter gets rusted out and bends from everyday shifting, shifter bushings also get worn out and make it a bitch to shift.. find the bolt that attaches to the shifter rod and loosen it up a tad and see if that makes a difference..
