Default Driver Side Door Woes

For like a year now, the driver's side door won't lock or unlock when I press the lock or unlock button on my car remote. The passenger's door works just fine. I asked this on the d-series.org forum and they just mention that it could be a blown fuse. The only issue is if it is in-fact a blown fuse, wouldn't this impact both the driver's side and passenger's side doors? Only the driver's side door is having issues. I need some advice/help.

My car is a 2000 Honda Civic EX and I have to manually use my key to lock/unlock the driver's side and it's annoying when I go to the grocery store and both my hands holding grocery bags and trying to fiddle with the keys to manually unlock my door.
