Default Driveaxles?

Whenever I drive forward and backwards in low RPM's my car makes a poping noise. Both driveaxles are brand new. The thing is that I am leaking transmission fluid and I'm wondering if the fluid gets too low, will you start hearing noises from the driveaxles?

it could be defective drive axles because I had the same problem when i changed mine a while ago. exchanged them and got replacements, works like a charm. But you should have it checked out be a technician.

If you put it up on jack stands does it still make the popping? Check for wheel bearing damage. Grab the tire at the top and bottom, push in at the top an pull out at the bottom, reverse that( on jack stands of course). Is there play at the wheel? Yes? then its a bad wheel bearing and if its popping you will most likely have to get a hub assembly from the old bone yard. If it does not have play then check the tie rod ends. Grab the tire at front and back is there relative motion at the tierod end steering knuckle joint? Yes tie rod end is bad. That just leaves either the axle itself or some thing in the transmission. I hope for your wallets sake its the axles.

Well I refilled the my transmission fluid (it wasn't low). The sound is always on the left and never on the right. I never ran my motor hard or anything.
