Default drag slicks

what's up,

I have been wondering about getting slicks for my new build but im not sure what size.
SOHC turbo (expected 400-450hp)
I am not sure if I should do 13's, 14's or 15's
I see a lot ppl use different setups. if you guys have tire sizes it would help also.

thanks in advance

A smaller diameter tire increase acceleration a bigger diameter tire will increase top speed.

Keep in mind that is overall diameter not the rims diameter.

With that said, you will need to try diff, sizes to see what works.

I autocross, and use Yokohama O32Rs the first set were 13" but I found that when I spray, [75 shot] I would break free, [spin the tires] replaced them with 14" and it was less of a problem. 94

A dealer would be able to tell you or you can just measure, I should have mentioned, with that amount of power I would go "big and wide". 94

Most likely you'll be in the 23" or 24.5" tall slick range. 13" by 9" wide should work. Ask in the drag racing forum.
