this is a simple question... when you are downshifting, whether it be heel-toe or just normal, do you blip the throttle in two consecutive presses, or one larger, longer press?
trying to see what people do because i'm used to super-sensitive one-blip on my BBK TB which i basically learned downshifting on, and since i'm going back to stock i would like to see if it's really better to do two consecutive.

depends whether i hit it right 1st go, if not, you gotta go for the second one.
practice makes perfect! so yeah, hit it once, and hit it right

I rev it all the way back up to 9500 so the car takes off again... hehe j/k... But yea I normally just do a longer bleap... I dunno it just seems weird to do two.. Laterz
I have a shitty broke *** tranny and a 6 puck unsprung clutch. It takes finess to drive my car smoothly and it depends on load, mph, and gear selection for which method I use, but I do both.

One blip usually for me. As you get better and more efficient, hopefully you can reduce the "length" of your blip. My "blips" are still kinda on the long side I think.
Of course, a missed shift will require a recovery blip, and a missed corner due to a missed shift and subsequent recovery blip(s) will require a recovery car (i.e. tow-truck).
example of what I do:
80 in third... brake to 50
hit clutch put in neutral
rev to 6K
press clutch and engage second
enjoy
the less work the layshaft has to do the better.
