what is down pipeing? what does it do? and can you use it for a n/a setup

A "downpipe" usually refers to the pipe that connects the exhaust outlet of a turbo to the rest of the exhaust system. Certain 2-piece N/A header designs may have a downpipe-like section too, but for the most part, the term is used for turbocharged applications.
