i know this is a honda place but i need some advice. here's the deal my lil bro bought a evo and the clutch disc went out on it and instead of buying another stock one we ended up buying a rmr 6puck from a local shop and let them install it too. i thought it was in good hands cause the guy has a vr-4 galant same engine different generation. well it took him like a month to do the install. he said that they resurfaced the flywheel too. so i pay him and everthing is running good, the evo pulled hard though a lil to ruff for me. well bout after two weeks go bye. we were on our way to go to the spot and half way their the car starts acting up. so got scared and started to turn around then bamm the back tires wont move anymore. so it gets towed. i found out that the transfer case froze locked up. cause the transmission fluid leaked. so it ends up that i need a whole new tranny cause it locked in the tranny and the dealership said that the were gonna need the whole tranny and transer case and that when the other shop did the install the should of switched out the flywheel out too. and that they cant resurface mitsu flywheels. so i called the shop and told them what happened and they told me that it wasnt there fault cause the told me this is what they told me that its like going to get springs in your car and then complaining bout the alignment on the car. but that was just the guy that did the install not the boss. i never see him there to talk to him. sooo now im left with a 6500 dollar bill. and i dont know what to do.
i think they're trying to take advantaga of me im a loyal customer at that shop ive spent well over 5k there. And they pull this **** on me. i think its cause im still young im only 19 and bro just turned 18. but i dont know wat to do i can pay for it but thats my cheese and i think that they should pay for it. i need help
