DOHC ZC Timing, is it off??
When I stick a screwdriver down in cyl1, once its at the top of its compression stroke, the cam gears are aligned.. Does this mean the crank is too? Im throwing a code 4, and I just replaced my dizzy, I dont get it... As it is, the car will idle, and sound fine. but when i give it a little gas, it bogges horribly. Naturally, the car has no power..ideas?
no it doesnt mean the crank is too. Align the Crank and see if the cam gears are align if not then it's off. Aligning the crank is the main thing becuase it's TDC if the crank is align.
How do I align the crank? I know usually theres suppose to be a white line for timing, along with some red marks for ignition timing. But i dont have the white dot or any grooves, just the 2 red dots
