Default does lowering stress the cv joints?

if so, is it anything to be concerned about? would the boots rip faster with a 2 inch drop?

i was told it can also put more wear on the transmission...does that make any sense?

thanks

Depending on which car you have, lowering the car too much will almost always damage the differential, and thus the axles.

Say a 99 Si dropped 2.25" in front...would this effect it at all?

I am wondering if my low drop has anything to do with my problem (see my other topic here).

Would it cause any kind of vibration when accelerating?
