I'm using the s200. It cost me $300 for the s200, plus $50 to have my p30 socketed.
Unfortunatley I'm not finished with my swap yet so I can't tell you how it runs, or the pros and cons.
But, the reason I bought was because of the capabilty to perfectly tune my ecu to match my engine setup. You might find a chip that works well for you, but might not be perfect. And then when you upgrade any of your components, the chip might not be running an adaquate map for the new setup.
The only con I see for the whole thing is the price. A chip is cheaper.
