take the green wire to your tach signal wire which is blue on my eg it will be behind your gauge cluster you need to either solder it on or use a three way connecter to tap into this signal. the red goes to any power that is turned on when ignition is turned over such as the windshield wiper power or the gauge cluster power you need a meter just put your meter on a selected power and kick the ignition over and if it gets power only when key turns over thats where you need to tap your power in. its really not hard ,the best advice if your going to be working on your car yourself get the haynes manual for yours. that will show you the tach signal wire and a power that is ignition controled.if you need more help IM me and I should be able to walk you through it . good luck and get a haynes!
