Default do pulleys really?

Do pulley's actually make a difference on a car?.I've hear it does nothing, but I also heard people could tell the difference...They aren't expensive, so I'm thinking of adding them.....Here's my setup:

I/H/E/C, Skunk2 Stage 2 cams, valvetrain, Skunk2 Intake Manifold, Exeddy clutch, Toda flywheel, VAFC, Skunk2 chip. 96 GSR...

thanks

yeah they work, but like any mod it only becomes more apparent the further you mod your car.

Don't get them, they cause more harm than they do good.

they dim your lights (on some cars) and if you buy the crank pulley, you may have problems because of the torsional vibration (or something like that). but it does give a bit of low-end

sounds like an over tightening of a pulley to me, ,not the pulley itself...if you're worried about the vibration raping your engine get the aem pulleys, they have resized pulleys for everything else but the crank and it frees up some hp while still using the stock crank pulley.

whoops...I forgot to mention that I do have cam gears, and the car has been tuned... I have the 4-1 DC Sports header with the 2.25 collector..I've heard to go 4-2-1 or go JDM with a 2.5 collector...My shop told me he's done this mod to other cars like mine and it slowed them down...Then others said it makes a huge difference over the DC Sports...Such a two way street...Confusion????
