do koni adjustables need to be broken in?

Default do koni adjustables need to be broken in?
i have mine set to full soft backed off a little so it wont jam. i heard i should break them in this way for a while before going to firmer. is this true?

From what i have heard, they will break in, but, you dont necesarily have to break them in

I haven't heard of breaking them in.
They just get all comfy on there own.
I saw no problems when I did it to mine
