Default dizzy question

my dizzy is marked td 87.the dude selling it says its a jdm obd1 b16 dizzy. how can i make sure that im not jus gettin a d16 dizzy?

I haven't tried, but I don't think a d16 dizzy will bolt up. I could check but the d16 dizzy is out in the shed and the b series head in the basement. I did check the d16 dizzy before I posted, there are no numbers on the casing. I looked in the basement for the other two but my son moved them.

Was this set-up your buying running ? I gather you haven't seen it bolted together ?
