Default diy wide band data-logging using dataq 194 or is there something better?

I've been looking around for a while on how to data-log a Wide band cheaply... I have the PLX M300 (non-logging), and the l.e.d.'s are starting to go out. If I can cheaply data-log it, then it would save me a lot of money... anyways, I found this
http://www.dataq.com/products/startkit/di194.htm
and this
http://www.national.com/pf/LM/LM2917.html
but i haven't a clue if it would work, or how you would wire them up. "Spike" had some posts about this in '03, but never any finished write ups. I have emanage, which can log a WB if you take off the 3bar (it only has 1 input) but I run 15psi, and must use it....

If you are OBD1, you can datalog the PLX with Freelog or Chrome. OBD0 can be datalogged with BRE. This is assuming your ECU is chipped with datalogging support. See http://forum.pgmfi.org for more info.

There is also JAW which is a DIY WB controller which supports datalogging in the software it comes with.
