Default DIY turbo on EBAY ?

There are turbo kits on ebay for 500 dollars and kits or 1100 dollars for B16 motors. Difference is that the 1100 comes with intercooler, extra hoses, and stuff.

My question, is the 500 dollar kit workable ? Or do I ned the intercooler and extras to get it to work ?

here is an example....
