Default Eg civic carpet tucking

I couldnt really find an approriate forum to post this in so my appologies if this is the wrong place

My question is very simple. My carpet has come untucked at the forward part of the door jam by the ecu and also on the driver side by the hood latch. My question is: how the hell do I get the carpet to tuck back into the door jam molding? There is a white plastic strip underneath but I am unsure how to gey my carpet to stay attached to it without stapling through the molding. Hopefully somebody knows what I mean. This is a huge eyesore as soon as I or a passenger enter the car. Ill post a picture of what I mean.

Lol I had this same problem. I took off the entire bottom moulding including the white part you mentioned. This allowed me to straighten the carpet out and tuck it in enough to stay put when I put the moulding back. I used a little flat head screwdriver to help tuck it all in. Only problem is it backed out about 6 months later. After that I did the same thing but added some glue to the bottom side of the carpet. This lasted until I sold the car a year or so later.
