Distributor Question?
will a 99 Bseries OBD2b distributor work on a D-series OBD1 motor? I have a OBD2-OBD1 conversion harness
I have a 94 DX engine that is going in OBD2 car for the time being until the DOHC shows up (need the car for daily commute). Have everything for the DX motor, ecu etc... only problem we have is the car's engine harness doesn't plug in with the DX's distributor... other than that everythings there... The B-series distributor fits into the head of the SOHC... if it works, we were going to use the b-series distrib so it'd fit the harness thats on the car...
I'd just put a new harness, though we don't have one... I'm pretty sure that we'll have to pull the SOHC out now cause it doesn't look like it'll work... if the distrib works then we'll be in the clear...
