distributor problems...

distributor problems...
i have a 97 gsr distributor but when i bought the msd cap for the distributor it wont fit on it all the way. its a td-87u if you have a gsr and its a 97 maybe you could confirm this number for me. ?? i dont know whats up... thanks

this is what the web site said is this right... i ordered second one that said 1.7 and it solved my problem. gsr is 1.8 so it threw me off when they said 1.7L. im going to stop listening to companies and do what i think
