Dist. rotor stuck on shaft
Are there any ways out there to take this metal piece of the rotor off of the shaft. I completly broke off all the plastic parts of the rotor doing the replacement and can't get this piece off. Theres rust around it and I have let it soaked in PB blaster for awhile and still cant pull it off. TIA
Here are some pics to help visually:

Just checking...keep prying i has to come off eventually, tap the rotr with a rubber mallot lightly then turn and pry tap turn and pry...repeat if necessary. Good luck
You can try heating it up with a lighter or a small propane torch, its your best friend for things that are a very tight fit, like broken distributor rotors or transmission bearings.
maybe heating it up might work. as for the impact screwdriver, its not the screw im having trouble with (already dealt with) its the metal piece that goes on the shaft.

I'm having the same problem. How did you get it off? I've tried some heat from a heat gun with no luck. Been soaking all day with WD-40 and penetrating oil. Also tried pushing further on with a socket/hammer to break the rust. It went further on but will not pull off. Can't get a battery terminal puller on good enough to try pulling it off. Any other suggestions other than to let it continue to soak? Was someone able to take off with a dremel?
Finally got it off. After soaking for a while I used a 3ft long prior bar with a block of wood to protect the distributor. Took a lot of pressure and it snapped off. I thought I had shattered it but it came off clean. I cleaned up the shaft with a emory sandpaper and used a little of anti-seize before re-assembl.
I have found ind the past to remove stubborn rotor metal rings that are stuck to take a dremel, cut a small notch and using a screwdriver pry the notch apart. Ring will then slide off. This is like removing a bearing race off a wheel hub
