Default dist. rotor question

Does it matter what kind of rotor you get for the distributor? I got mine from Pepboys and it is called Borg Warner. Should i have gone with OEM? This rotor that was in there was burnt/rusted halfway across the top. I have a Crane ignition. The Borg is like gold/copper type electrode. Am i in good hands?

I like MSD wires and coils, but when it comes to dist caps and rotor buttons I never use anything but Honda.

BW is a decent replacement, but factory is better.

For a daily driver, BW does just fine.

What about a turbo daily driver. It had a NASCAR logo on the box!
