I've seen several for sale with a disabled immobilizer, though...does that mean that every one had theirs reflashed by a dealer? if so, then a dealer can disable it?

Its not right, But I know how, But I will not give you the information since you are from Brick, NJ. Which has one of the highest theft rates.

The fact that my 00 GSR has an imobilizer, is literally the ONLY reason my car was only broken into last Thursday, and not outright stolen. They got in, and had the ignition on, without any signs of force, so either a master key or some other way to bypass needing the correct key. They even tore out the rear seat (to get to the gas pump) and ECU looking for the kill switch, which there is none.

Yes, knowledge itself isn't necessarily a bad thing. But that is one of the few protections that alot of our cars have...

are you serious?! you're not going to help me out of my situation because of the fact that brick, nj has the 3rd lowest crime rate in the state...is that it?

check out the classifieds forum under p73 ecu...

http://hondamarketplace.com/zerothread?id=1379969.

email the guy who was trying to sell his 01 usdm p73 ecu for the past 7 months and ask him who finally bought it.

if you want to make sure no one else on this site can just log on and read it, then email it to me. but seriously, don't try to insult me and say that i'm going to use it to steal some cars because im from brick, nj. newark, ok...jersey city, yeah...union, without a doubt...but anywhere in ocean county?

if u say you're from new jersey, then you need to learn your way around a little better. i'm on here legitimately trying to get some help and all i get is "i know, but i'm not telling", and pigeon-holing comments because i'm from the same state as the sopranos.

i am seriously in need of help on this. if you want to make sure that i am not in this to steal your car, then contact the seller from the above link. i am not trying to hide anything. i work extremely hard for everything i get, just like you.

Try to steal my car all you want, I'd be glad to get insurance money.

PM me if you'd really like to know.
