Default Ding in Dc 4-2-1 headers

I have an h22a and have 2 dents on the bottom of my dc 4-2-1 headers(the part that goes from 2-1). They are about as bad as dropping 2 pencils in each of the 2 pipes. Is that something that needs to be replaces or I shouldn't worry about it?

Any in Socal repairs damaged headers and does a good job at it?

dents on your header can hurt the performance gains of em... for b-series motors most headers in the market offer skid plates so they wont get dented or scraped at all.... sorry i wasent much help but h-series motors dont have that much in the market to offer... id just watch out for potholes on the streets or raise my car a little bit.

I bought it with the dented headers. I raised it back to stock height. I found that the benefits of a stock height h22a eg out-weigh the a benefits of a lowered one. thanks.

Preech on brother! Lowered car suck when you dont have the right components installed. I can go 80 in the clover with with ~20 year old struts/springs, new tires and a good alignment. This is usually when my car kind of drifts sideways alittle

My guess is that is is probably gonna cost you a pretty penny to fix this. I would just buy a new header and be done with it. As for your question, no I do not, I live in Minnesota.

Is that part sold seperatly? It is only the bottom half of the headers that are damaged.

I would contact dc on this one. I know edelbrock make a "race" pipe you can buy seperatly (I know it wont work on a DC header but you know how market competiton is.)
