Default Differences in d series bottom ends? Specs?

I tried searching for a while to no avail. I am wondering about differences between the d blocks. So far I see the dipstick changes places after 95, so does the offset of the crank pulley, etc etc.

My main concern: Does a 1992 D15B8 (civic CX 8 valve motor) have a different crankshaft than a d16z6 or d16y8? I'm thinking about using this block for a build, but if the crank is only good for 1.5L, I might as well wait for another motor / crank. Thanks

The crank is fine for 1.6L, not the same as D16z6/D16y8, but not far off. The difference in displacement is from the rod/piston combo

Are there any strength / reliability differences? In other words, would I be better off to start off with a d16y8 longblock? Thanks again.

yes the cranks are different...
stroke:
d15 - 84.5mm
d16 - 90mm

main journal diameter:
d15 ~ 45mm
d16 ~ 55mm

you cant use a d15 crank in a d16 block...

Thanks a lot, I think I'll just wait on a y8 longblock.
