look at the distributor, if it has 1 plug, then obd2, 2 plugs then obd1

I can gauntee you that your motor is obd1, its not worth the effort to convert to obd2. OBD2 has totally different wiring. On an obd-2 hatch, its just one main harness, which means that there arnt those plugs on the shock tower. But they COULD have done an obd-2 conversion out of the donor teg that the motor cam from. But like i said doubtfull. They could have gotten clever and just combined the obd2 dizzy plug into obd1 wiring harness, thats possible also. Dont forget about crank angle flux on obd2... injectors are different, they are more of a plug then a clip, and have a smaller profile. Much improved over the obd0/1 style with those stupid metal clips. Im trying to think of what other differences there are... obd2 has b4 and in cat 4 wire o2 sensors ...*shrug* that should do it for you though.

this only applies to US models... JDM doesnt have crank flux and 2nd o2, and late model obd2 doesnt have oil pressure switch on the vtec solinoid
