Im new to Hondas, and im just wondering what the differences are between the engine series? For example, what sets the K series apart from B series engines? I was hoping you guys could enlighten me, or point me to a website or something.

 

You're going to have to do a lot of research. There isn't just a couple of things that make them different, every aspect of the engines are different. The K series uses a more advanced VTEC system, is mounted backwards from the B series, has different internal dimensions, different cam profiles, different flow rates for the head, different everything. Like I said earlier, do some research on both engine series and then compare notes.

I noticed some errors on that site, do some additional research to get everything square.

 

yes, there are errors here and there. just like any other site will most likely have. but its a good start and covers alot.
