Difference Between Mufflers for Custom Installation
I recently got an awesome 2003 S2000 AP1, Sebring Silver/Full Red.
But, I'm asking about a different car! I have a kit car I built with my dad that has a V6 hanging off the back of a VW transaxle. I've been having trouble with mufflers lasting, and keeping the sound down. A shop suggested the best thing would be to get stock Honda mufflers. My goal is a quiet as possible! But I don't have a lot of room lengthwize.
It looks like the Civic 92-00 muffler will fit. I saw a picture of a 2004 Civic SI muffler that may even be better, and has those cool double tips already on it that would fit well.
Can someone tell me if there is an internal difference between the Civic, Accord, or Integra mufflers? Or pre and post 2000? Again, my goal is as quiet as possible.
