Default difference between the different ACT clutches

im looking for a new ACT clutch and there are numerous ACT clutches to choose from for the 94-01 integra, i was wondering which one would be the best for an integra with basic bolt ons and i want not a totally race one but not a stock one and one that grabs better than stock. which ACT clutch would u reccomend?

Have you looked at Exedy or maybe a stock Type R clutch?

HD plate.....stiffer.

XT plate.....a lot stiffer.

XX plate.....HOLY ****@!

The Exedy's are $100 something less than the ACT HD-SS. Worth looking into.

ITR clutch/PP's are for pussies.

exedy makes stock clutches for honda/acura and many more JDM cars so you really can't really go wrong with their sport/racing clutches. quality fit and product is OEM spec.

I had one of these (3 puck), i really don't recommend it if you are stuck in traffic or drive alot in a rain, but it grabs like there is no tommorow

so just get the sport version of the exedy which hold 30% more then stock.

there are few places such as *** imports, City Clutch online and few other who have them for about $260 shipped.

go for the act heavy duty pressure plate with street disc. the xtreme pp, in my opinion is too stiff. not super stiff, but after a while, you'll have a bigger left leg, from pushing on the clutch.

If Bobby wants he can drive my car around the block to feel how the ACT XT Pressure Plate/SS disc feels. I would recommend the HD PP/SS disc, it is what I would have done if I had a choice in the matter.

Also the XT version is a little more expensive.

I run a ACT XT pp with a 6 puck full race (no springs) disc. Jesus, it feels like a CM stage 5 in cable clutch, meanwhile i have hydrolic. But hell, if you can show me another clutch that can do burnouts into 4 forward gears and chirp the 5th one and not be too horrible in traffic, show me. Actually, to be honest, its an incredible clutch, but dont get a race disc unless u hit the track, it gets tiring sometimes.
