what are the differences?

 

if you have an auto ecu in a manual car it will throw a code 18.

 

i was running an auto ecu and didnt get any codes like that, but what i did notice was that vtec engaged earlier and my fuel cutoff was at 7500 rpm. also, when i opened the ecu, the smaller board inside was marked with an AT. i run a pr3 ecu.

Well i guess if I was to use a pr3 auto on my b20with a gsr head would be great since the b20 can't and won't handle much rpm! I guess an auto would be better for this set up instead of the manual atleast till I have the money to convert to a obd1 setup!!!
