i just got my car like 2 months ago. when i got the car everything was great and so was the response. recently though when i floor it the engine seems to bogg a little until it reaches about 4000rpm. its a 98 prelude 5speed. i dont really have much of an idea but i was thinking maybe i needed to change the spark plugs

 

Quite possibly.
You should go by the mileage chart in your owners manual for the recommended maintenance practices.
Depending on your mileage,you may need a major tuneup.Or you could have a bad cylinder.
If you dont have much experience,you might want to have a mechanic look at it with you.There expeience is invaluable sometimes.
