did search obd0 to obd1 dizzy question

did search obd0 to obd1 dizzy question
now if this post has been addressed before i apologize, i couldnt find anything.
im doin an obd0 to obd1 conversion, and ive done the searchs.
all my questions were answered except one.
why a obd0 dizzy wont work wit a obd1 ecu... it jus says u cant.
wonder if there was someone who could explain this quickly.
does it spark differently? does it rotate differently?? does it have signals sent to the ecu that obd0 doesnt??
lookin at the 2 wiring schematics its not different............
