Default Delta 272 clearance ???

I'm getting a Delta 272 camshaft form my D16A6 soon, and was wondering, could I mill my head 0.040" and use a D16Y8 head gasket, so that the head would be in all 0.050" lower.....would I have and valve to piston clearance problem with that cam or would it be OK?
I'm planning to get it tuned.

Also, I have a adjustable cam gear and going to use it to adjust the cam degrees to "compensate" for milled head.
Also, will adjust timing with timing stroboscope light.
Just wanted to know does anyone have a similar setup, any tips or experience?
Thanks.
