Default this is definately a technical question . . . .

i have a crx dx that i want to enhance the motor to. i have a 90 prelude 2.1 engine, wiring, etc., in my posession - can anyone tell me if the dohc 2.1 16 valve head will fit on the crx 1.5 16 valve sohc block? and how about the crank shaft? can that be put in the block of the crx too? if i can, would i be facing any problems with the compatability between the two? (note: i am also putting the mpfi intake assembly on the car - will the fuel pump be able to handle going from the efi throttle body to the mpfi?)

no the b21 and te d16 have no real interchangable performance. and the fuel pupm should work fine.

you might beable to swap the whole b20 engine into your crx...but mixing the b-series parts with the d-series parts is *not* going to work. Completely different.

i had originally planned on putting the prelude engine into the crx, but i was doing some more thinking and i was hoping to save myself the money and the work by mixing some of the parts to enhance the crx. i also have a 1.8 prelude that i want to convert to fi, instead of the dual carb, but am not sure i can, so i was going to put the 2.1 engine into the 1.8.
